Our CEO and Founder, Professor Sir Peter Donnelly, was interviewed on BBC News regarding the UK Government's plans for investment in the Oxford and Cambridge region.
The UK Chancellor Rt Hon Rachel Reeves announced investment plans for the Oxford and Cambridge region and corridor in January 2025.
We welcome this announcement. Genomics is proudly headquartered in Oxford, with offices in Cambridge and London in the UK; as well as Boston and North Carolina in the US.
Professor Sir Peter Donnelly is quoted as a business leader, saying "it will help interactions between companies, situated at either end of the corridor, it will help companies who have bases in both places, and as we - companies - look to grow from Oxford and Cambridge, it will greatly expand the pool of people who can conveniently work at one or the other".
